Track everything that
can be tracked
If the Lichess or Chess.com public API returns a field, we store it — parsed into a time series where it makes sense, and kept as raw JSON where it does not yet. Nothing is thrown away, because history you did not record cannot be recovered later.
Lichess, in full
Every perf Lichess exposes is recorded on each poll: bullet, blitz, rapid, classical and correspondence, plus the variants — Crazyhouse, Chess960, King of the Hill, Three-check, Antichess, Atomic, Horde and Racing Kings. Each point carries its rating deviation and progression, and provisional ratings are flagged so a settling number is never mistaken for real movement.

Chess.com, in full
Daily, daily-960, rapid, blitz and bullet ratings with their best and lowest marks and the dates those marks were set, along with the complete win, loss and draw record for each time control. We also record clubs, tournaments, streaming and verified status, league, last-online, and the FIDE rating where the profile exposes one.

Puzzle metrics, charted twice
Puzzle numbers tell two different stories and deserve two different lines. For Lichess Puzzle Storm, Puzzle Racer and Puzzle Streak we chart the number of runs — how much work is actually being put in — separately from the personal best score. The standard puzzle rating is tracked alongside them. On Chess.com we record Puzzle Rush best score and total attempts, and Tactics highest and lowest.

Web and mobile, one tracked set
Sign in with Google or Apple on any of them and you get the same list. Add a player on your phone during a tournament and the chart is waiting on your laptop. The mobile apps cache locally so your tracked set opens instantly and refreshes in the background.
